The Era aims to promote mutual understanding across the Taiwan Strait and critical understanding of world history in Mainland China.

Found in 2022 by The Strait Weekly Club and History Hub Club of Shanghai High School, The Era is one of the first student movements of its kind to advocate for broadening perspectives on understanding history, and attempting to resolve a historio-cultural issue by bridging cultural and historical gaps across the Taiwan Strait. Currently, the Era has published over 80 articles and reports, 2 publications, and hosted several workshops across Mainland China. Our 10 member clubs from Shanghai and Beijing collaborate in grassroots projects to reach out to as many people as possible.
